These are some of the mosaics that I have made since I first took a tile and cemented it onto a permanent structure.

Over the years my mosaics have gotten smaller and my tiles have lighter as I try to fit one idea into each single mosaic. I am working toward the day when I can incorporate much of my knowledge into a never ending mosaic.

I have a long way to go and just enough time to get there.

The challenge for was to find the texture. With "little bo peep" in mind, I discovered the use for chair rail and bullnose tile.

Sammy, the cocker spaniel was a special pup, always laughing, and with a blue glass eye, no less. She was a good poser, front or back with her little tail wagging, and pendulous ears swaying.

Kenya

Kenya was the best dog ever. Alert, good guard / alarm dog, viscious when necessary, but mostly loveable and smart. Famous for ears turning inside out. I highly recommend pound puppies.

Mountain Mosaic

This mosaic was commissioned for a bathroom in a chalet with stunning views over Mont Blanc in France. This is my first landscape piece and I included the large stones in the middle of the mosaic to break up the vista. The sky is grouted in dark grey and the mountains and foreground are grouted in light grey. Materials include vitreous glass and unglazed ceramic tile.

Marble and granite countertop pieces.

A common cement plug dug up in a garden was a clients favorite place to put their afternoon cocktails. When asked if I could make something of it, I took the challenge.

The mosaic is made of 1" thick countertop tile, leaving two little leaves as a drainage run off area. I encased the whole thing in orange cement.

I wanted to make a piece of garden furniture. This piece was for a charity auction for the Museum of Natural History to raise money for the new museum.

The theme was DNA to Dinosaurs.

THIS STAR WAS TAKEN FROM HER KITCHEN TABLE AND REPLICATED ON HER BACKSPLASH, FOR ONE OF THE MOST PROMINANT PEOPLE IN PORT ORANGE FLORIDA. IT IS MADE OF ALL THE MATERIAL SHE USED IN HER KITCHEN, INDIAN SLATE, MARBLE AND COCOA TILE. THIS PROJECT WAS INSTALLED BY MYSELF AND MY SON VINCENT. IT TOOK ABOUT 18 HOURS to make. MOLDING WILL GO AROUND THE ART PIECE TO ACCENT IT LOOKS GREAT!!!

This is a 7"x3" glass on glass mosaic stained glass piece, it took me one and a half years to complete, all cut by hand. thousands of pieces of beautifull glass to make the story of "Danae" it's a famous painting by Gustav Klimt..the story behind the painting inspired me to creat it...google the story it's amazing. $15.000
