Beloved Lady

This dark haired beauty is a tribute to my mother (Barbara Lamar). In her younger years, she had this perfect hourglass figure and beautiful jet-black hair. She was a painter, and we talked about me doing human form in mosaic. (Definitely out of my comfort zone). This piece was finished in August 2010. Unfortunately, Barbara Lamar passed away in January 2010 and never saw that I followed through on our idea. But, I know, that she knows… My hope is that this will be the first in a series of lovely ladies; all to be inspired by the special women that have inspired me. 18 h x 12 w (inches)
