As an historian, I have always been fascinated by Roman and Byzantine mosaics. I am self taught with the exception of two weeks mosaic class. I like play with colours and textures and I enjoy using differents techniques.I primarily work with marble and to day, my creations included smalti, Venetian glass, émaux...

Direct methode on temporary support. First the design is drawn on a flat of clay.then, the tiles are laid on clay to realised the portrait.It's easier to make modifications. A layer of mortar is spread over the back of the tiles
