This early attempt to fill a 3" by 3" trivet with millefiori and my own hand formed tiles was a very rewarding project to finish.
I have had many failures since this work but this was the mosaic that first told me, "I can make these small mosaics!"

Although I made my first commissioned mosaic over 25 years ago as an extension of my stained glass business, I have not made any mosaics to sell in the last 20 years except for the occasional trinket, trivet, or tray. I make my mosaics as a hobby and to explore the possibilities of the tiles I offer in my online mosaic tile business.
I love mosaics and display the works of several other artists, both professional and beginners on Cyclopstile's website.
Much of my art is simple and basic as I am learning to use mosaic techniques which I have never use before.
