I've been doing mosaics for a few years now, this is my very first project.It took three and a half yrs to complete since I was working around a busy work schedule and family. I am a new artist just learning about the various styles and techniques in the world of mosaics. Unfortunately I am not able to devote much time to my art works right now, but I am hoping that in the next few years I will be able to work full time as an artist (or an artist wannabe!). I have a strong interest in mosaic portraits, but would also love to explore abstract oil painting.
