Ornate Mosaic Writing Box

I originally got this antique wooden box from the 'rents, who are antique dealers. It measures 7' high, 12 & 1/4' across, and 11" deep. It was beautiful on its own, but of course, had to make it into a mosaic! I swear, if my dog would stand still long enough, I'd mosaic her. I used earth tones tiles and flattened marbles, "earth" colored grout. It sits on four wooden circles that have been painted dark burgundy. (They don't show in the photos, unfortunately). It looks like an old writing box, at least that's what I would use it for. The inside is lined with dark burgundy felt, in excellent condition. The first picture is of the top of the box. I took pics inside and outside, as the flash tends to distort the true color of some of the flattened marbles and/or tiles.
