I would like to know what techniques are being used to make mosaics. I am adhering my glass to plywood. My works are generally large and it gets a messy when I work with really small pieces of glass. Is anyone using a reverse method? I would like to hear more about that. candy

Is it your adhesive that is messy? I do outside mosaics as well with different medias. When I do glass on wood, I use Mac glue. It dries really quickly and I have no problems with it. It doesn't seem to be a messy job for me... :D

I use Wedi board or hardiboard because I'm afraid wood will warp. Weldbond is my favorite for interior mosaics. You can do reverse on contact paper in small sections. Just try not to touch the contact paper so much or it will lose some of its tackiness. Good luck!

I am wondering what type of glass cutting tools others use? I am a beginner and all I have is a 2 wheeled glass cutter.
As far as adhesive, I use liquid nails clear.
